Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!
New week, new comics, new Transformers crossover! That’s right, the first issue the new (one of 1.21 Million) crossover that you didn’t know you wanted has been released this week: Transformers/Back To The Future #1. Agent_70 and Roddykat figure how long it would take for Roddykat to order the inevitable figure from said crossover (spoiler alert: he might have done so before now). But there’s a bunch of other new comic books out this week and the guys take a stab at them like so many Krakoans! Case in point, Wolverine #6, X-Force #13, and Marauders #13 all came out this week! See what the fellas thought about them. Spidey is celebrating 850 issues with this week’s Amazing Spider-Man #49, speaking of big issues!
In the news, Warner Bros. has acquired the film adaptation rights to Kwanza Osajyefo and Tim Smith 3’s Black series! NYCC’s virtual convention is on and Amazon’s The Expanse has a First Look at Season 5, at the show as well as a teaser trailer for Robert Kirkman and crew’s Invincible animated series! Far Sector writer, and noted science fiction prose novelist, N. K. Jemisin has been named a MacArthur Fellow! MCU versions of Thanos and the Black Order get a Marvel Legends 5-pack that has just been revealed. Lovingly (hopefully) crafted #kliqsoftheweek. So good!
