Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Spider-Man: No Way Home is out in theaters (because it is)! Agent_70 has seen it and gives some spoiler-free impressions of it at the top of the show. Then he and Roddykat recap Hawkeye episode 5, from this past week. And if you think the fellas would leave you hanging, then that’s a funny one, Kate Bishop! The kids of Strange Academy learn about time travel, just before one learns about wanting something so badly that they endanger themselves. Miles Morales has words (and hands) with Ben Reilly in Amazing Spider-Man #81. Bruce Banner is a sleeping danger in Hulk #2! Yara Flor fights her way to the gates of Olympus in Wonder Girl #6. Savage Avengers takes out the threat and STILL isn’t done yet!
In the news, Jump Festa 2022 happened and there are some choice anime announcements that came out of it. The Game Awards also happened recently and there are a couple of choice video game news bits that came out of it. It has been revealed when the third Spider-verse movie will be released, even though we’re patiently awaiting the second one. It’s Marvel vs. DC Comics in a new documentary from the Russo Brothers. Captain [Peggy] Carter gets a limited comic book series this coming March. Chris Claremont returns to the X-Men world with a new series starring Gambit. Godzilla and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers go go at it in a new five-issue comic event! They walk down stairs, alone or in pairs. Everyone loves #kliqsoftheweek!
