Chillhop Mix By Mark Mac
When I first started Djing I use to spend all night playing at the club and then very often I would head on out after the nights work and hit another club where I could listen to other DJs do their thing. Many clubs from Shelly's, Entropy, Bakers, Ministry, Wobble all use to be regular haunts for me and my friends and when the night was over we all use to head on over to either a friends house or to my house for a bit of a chillout session. Back then I use to play some chillout tunes in an after hours session. Smooth soul laidback jazz and triphop with a sprinkling of leftfield, every know and again.
Well even to this day I still play those tunes daily as calming vibe around the house and when I get stressed out and need a chillout.

A short while back I started expanding my music collection particularly in this vein and in doing so I came across what can only be called Chillhop. Then I found A Label actually called Chillhop Records and Ive been listening to their sounds for a couple of years now. In their albums and in their releases they have introduced me to some truly amazing artists and absolutely fantastic tracks.
