Description

Since 2019, Governor Ron DeSantis has invested more than five-billion dollars in workforce-education—with the goal of being number-one in the nation, for workforce-education, by 2030. The “Florida Department of Education” is commemorating February as “Career and Technical Education Month®”. And, according to Chancellor Kevin O’Farrell, they have seen vast success in “C-T-E”—across the state…

“Through career- and technical-education, Floridians can access affordable, high-quality workforce-programs—while gaining hands-on experience. The state currently has nearly 800-thousand K-through-12 ‘C-T-E’-students, more than 380-thousand postsecondary ‘C-T-E’-students, and over 17-thousand registered apprentices—and pre-apprentices—engaged in this meaningful education. It’s the highest in the state’s history.”

There are hundreds of career- and technical-programs available at one of Florida’s 45 technical-colleges—or 28 state-colleges. To find one near you, visit “get-there-f-l”-dot-com.
