Dr. Garcia holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Christian Counseling and is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA). He is also a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and an Ordained Minister.
Dr. Garcia has been contracted by the U.S. Department of Human Services to train practitioners in the social-work space. He has also served as a Chaplain for NBA
and NFL players; both current and retired.
Dr. Garcia has authored 3 books and featured in FOX News’, “Beyond the Dream” segment and TBN New York City.
He and his wife Deborah currently have a private practice where they provide different types of therapy including Christian Counseling, Temperament Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Pre-Marriage Counseling using SYMBIS.
They have 2 adult children: Jordan and Hannah, 1 grandchild, and reside in NJ.
