Joseph Careri, the founder of His Helping Hands, has turned his personal journey of overcoming homelessness into a mission to serve others. After spending seven years homeless, Joseph is deeply passionate about helping those in need, whether through clothing and feeding the homeless or providing groceries to families struggling to make ends meet.
His Helping Hands is built on the belief that there is more that unites us than divides us. The nonprofit is proudly non-political, non-racial, and impartial to economic status. Joseph and his team work tirelessly to bring hope, love, and unity to the community, inviting anyone and everyone to join in the mission.
Currently, His Helping Hands serves hot dinners every Friday night in Paterson, NJ, with a vision to expand their services to daily meal and clothing distributions in multiple towns and cities. Wherever there is a need, His Helping Hands strives to be there.
