When people ask what's my favorite place (outside Burning Man) to DJ, The Bow in Buenos Aires is always in my top 3. Argentinians have a passion for music that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the world (and really a passion for just about everything). Most track breakdowns are met with huge cheers, and even when the night ends, the crowd refuses to go home as they hang around after 6am demanding more music. It’s really a DJ’s dream. Another thing I love about The Bow is that it’s a 3000 person club, but the DJ booth is pretty low to the ground and within arm’s reach of the audience. The club has the perfect blend of energy and intimacy that holds a dear place in my heart.
This is a recording from my 2017 set at The Bow. Once this pandemic ends, I desperately hope to play there again. It’s a bit on the driving side, but takes a couple turns towards the deeper side to balance it out. Hope you enjoy!
