Thomas McNeely was named a Dobie Paisano Fellow in 2000, and has just published the novel he began during that fellowship. Titled Ghost Horse, it’s the story of an eleven-year-old boy in mid-1970s Houston who’s dealing with transitional times in his family and community while also working with his friends to create a Super-8 movie about the titular Ghost Horse.
