Brown wants to convey that it's cool and fun to have salvation. When she was three years old - her older sister discovered that she had a voice and she then began singing lead in Church with her family group. On weekends, her father – a Pastor, also sang in a successful male gospel group and whenever they performed in Detroit, Brown was the opening act.
