On July 11, 2016, KLRU-TV hosted a discussion on civil rights, race and policing in the wake of police shootings of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota, as well as the ambush in Dallas that killed five police officers. The discussion, which was simulcast on KUT 90.5 FM, focused on solutions to the problems impacting our community.
