The Austin school board will swear in four new members this month.
Three of the new trustees represent geographic districts, but Kendall Pace was elected as a district-wide trustee. She joins the other at-large trustee, Gina Hinojosa. KUT’s Kate McGee reports Pace is hoping to use her background in finance to help the district deal with tough budget decisions in the next few years.
