Ever wondered what the creative process is behind the films, tv shows and theatre productions you watch? Well, crew chats is a podcast going behind the scenes and chatting to the crew that help make these productions.
Lucy Hopkins is a Production Coordinator in television. After completing secretarial college, she began temping in house at the BBC which included working for Alan Yentob, then controller of BBC2. This led to becoming secretary to Executive producer George Faber on the strand Screenplay, showcasing young, up and coming writers, directors and actors. Lucy worked for George for 5 years before taking a year out, after which she returned to the BBC as a producers assistant and started to assist coordinators on productions within the Drama department. After a further 6 years at the BBC, Lucy became a coordinator and left the BBC to work as a freelancer starting on Dramas such as Inspector Lynley and Elizabeth the Virgin Queen to working on comedies like Bad Education and Intelligence.
