Ever wondered what the creative process is behind the films, tv shows and theatre productions you watch? Well, crew chats is a podcast going behind the scenes and chatting to the crew that help make these productions.
Costume Milliner Sophie Lambe studied Sculpture at University but had always had an interest in hats and headdresses from a young age. Sophie studied Millinery under Rose Cory and went onto work in the Millinery and Jewellery department at the Royal Opera House(ROH). After a number of years at the ROH, she went to work in the costume department for Riverdance In New York and later went onto become the Head of Costume for the European tour of the show, for 5 years. Sophie then took a break to have a family but maintained links to the industry. She combined motherhood and working as a Film daily with work as in-house masseuse at Leavesden Studios. Sophie later returned to Millinery as a costume milliner for film, working on productions such as, King Arthur, Assasins Creed, Fantastic Beasts (1&2) and Paddington 2 to name a few.
