Dan Cox’s love of cinema was nurtured from a young age through watching classic film favourites of the 1970s, '80s & '90s. With an ambition to work in the industry, he studied English and Film at the University of Southampton. After graduating he began to pursue his film career and was given his first opportunity with some work experience on the movie ‘Will’. He subsequently had his childhood dream to work on a Steven Spielberg film realised when he was offered work on ‘War Horse’ as an additional Production Assistant (PA). After being an on-set PA for a few years, Dan was promoted to the role of 3rd Assistant Director (AD) and later to his current role in the film industry, Crowd 2nd AD. His credits as a Crowd 2nd include, ’The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society’, 'Christopher Robin', ‘Rocketman', 'Enola Holmes', and the upcoming Amazon show, 'The Power’.
