Kym, a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Australia, Kym began her career by designing sets for theatre and went onto design costumes and sets for small theatre shows for the Sydney Theatre Company. It was with Baz Lurhman’s iconic 1996 film, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ that Kym got her first break designing costumes in film, which has been followed by the cult classic films ‘The Matrix Trilogy’, as well as ‘ Aquaman’, ‘Cloud Atlas’, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and the horror film ‘Us’ to name a few. Kym as well as having extensive film credits, has designed for theatre including Cirque du Soleil and the Metropolitan Opera.
