Movie Reviews - Sing Street
by Sarah Mason & Jake Essoe
On this episode of Justice & Doom Movie Reviews we review the wonderful Irish Film, SING STREET, we loved this film! It is set in Dublin in 1985. In short, it's about a boy, who likes a girl, so he starts a band. It's a coming of age story beautifully written, directed and with stand out acting performances by Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Jack Reynor, Lucy Boynton and a magnificent crew of young Irish actors. The cast includes Aidan Gillen (aka Little Finger from GAME OF THRONES) and Maria Doyle Kennedy (THE COMMITMENTS. The film premiered in March at the Dublin International Film Festival. It's currently in theaters -- GO SEE IT. It's worth every second and penny spent. 9.5/10 on our Justice & Doom Meter.
