This week's clip from Northampton, MA is a prime example of 2009-era tND. It was during this time period that we experimented with stretching out the slower jams, increasing our dub intake (and output) and just generally taking our music farther out on a limb, including riding sparser grooves for longer periods of time. The first two minutes provide a good example of the slower style we were trying to expand upon in our sets, while the Deep Sun Intro that follows demonstrates our desire to explore the ambient side of tND - to stretch a small piece of music for as long as we can make it interesting. -Jamie
