(English version below) - Au-delà de son impressionnante carrière professionnelle, la vie de Juan Gonzalez-Vega est avant tout une histoire de destin. Celle d’un Espagnol, débarqué très tôt en France et tombé dans le surf à l’adolescence, que le talent et l’ambition ont d’abord conduit à devenir trader dans une des plus grosses agences new-yorkaises de la fin des années 90.
Une vie faite aussi de rencontres et d’opportunités déterminantes, qui lui ont par exemple permis d’intégrer Quiksilver et d’en gravir les échelons à une vitesse fulgurante. Juan fera notamment partie de l’équipe restreinte du PDG Monde de l’époque, Bernard Mariette, et décrochera ensuite des responsabilités clés dans l’organigramme du groupe. Mais c’est à travers Moskova que Juan a pu développer la fibre entrepreneuriale qu’il avait déjà aiguisé quelques années auparavant.
Une très solide carrière entrecoupée d’épisodes marquants, qui confèrent à Juan une énergie particulière, une force palpable, et l’envie de savourer davantage chaque jour, chaque swell, chaque vague. Une histoire de destin, mais aussi de passion.

Beyond an impressive career, Juan Gonzalez-Vega’s live is above all about destiny. The destiny of a Spaniard, who arrived in France at a young age, who got into surfing as a teenager, whose ambition and talent first him led to become a trader on Wall Street for the biggest agencies in New York in the late 90’s.
