Danza Nativa, a Buenos Aires-based label, continues a phenomenal streak of releases with the debut album from young French producer Olorun. 'Indirect Image' sees Olorun drawing inspiration from his trip to South America, using exciting field recordings from the jungle, which, paired with tribal rhythms, create a wonderful atmosphere that is both driving and calming.
'Iridescence,' our premiere for today, is a beautifully crafted journey with subtle, ethereal pads that immaculately blend with field recordings, gentle percussions, and pulsating sub-bass. Imagine, 7 am, at party in the middle of the jungle, the Sun is up, you have the biggest smile on your face with your arms in the air, and this track is wrapping up what was the party to remember forever. I can totally see it.
