The transatlantic Athens-San Francisco-The Hague connection brings us today's premiere. Federsen's remix of 'Off Grid,' the track by Athens' stalwart Stelios Vassiloudis.
The remix by a San Fran veteran is a deep, hazy journey with classic dub chords, full of little tweaks that keep things changing constantly. 'Off Grid (Federsen dub mix)' is an excellent track for warm-up sets and an ideal layering partner in trippy minimal sets.
The remix is part of 'Deadpan' EP, set for release on September 22, via The Hague-based spclnch. This will be the label's jubilee 50th release.
