“Tayrona” is a gorgeous melodic up-tempo delight from South American producer, Paul M.. This no non-sense progressive house track is a tip-of-the-hat to the mystical, emblematic national park in Paul’s homeland of Colombia. Those who have experienced the inspiring landscapes of the ‘sud’ continent may know what to expect from this talented producer: Lush melodies with minor chords that light an optimistic path with delicate use of guitar, piano and strings. What’s more, the effective bassline gives a subtle look back to the nostalgic golden age of the beginnings of epic dream house. On remix duties are Gux Jimenez, with his syntonic fantasy cut, Kay-D, with his pitched down, deep and edgy ‘late night’ interpretation, and Rick Siron, with his provocative ‘bring it home stormer’ makes this collection of tunes entrancing.
