I've been hosting a radio show on WSUM 91.7 FM, the student-run station based in Madison, Wisconsin, since May of 2018—but I haven’t posted any recordings until now. This is something a little different from anything I have put up in the past so I thought I would share. Stay tuned for upcoming volumes....
Every Thursday night at 8 PM Central Time, I DJ live from the WSUM studio. As a UW Madison alumni, it’s great to stay connected with the school. I try to capture a different vibe each week, often pulling in old tracks I haven’t heard in a while—not just focusing on the latest releases. Everything is done live and on the fly, based on whatever I’m feeling.
This isn’t a polished mix or an edited radio set. I talk a few times during the hour to let listeners know what’s playing. I figured I would keep it raw, even if not perfect.
