Daydreaming is a cover from one of our favorite all-time bands, Radiohead. It was James’ idea to do this song, initially because it’s simple a beautiful work of art. But just like finding your true love, initially you are simply attracted to the person. But then as you get to know the person, this is where you begin to see all the layers that make up the true beauty of the individual (in this case, song). We did a little research to actually find out what the intent was behind the song, “Daydreaming.” It turns out, this song was heavily influenced by Thom Yorke’s passion toward the issues surrounding climate change and references the brilliant documentary, The Age of Stupid, a 2009 British documentary film by Franny Armstrong. This opened up a whole new vision and intent behind why we wanted to use this song to jump start our song releases.
