Trombonist William Carn has emerged as one of Canada’s leading contemporary jazz trombonists and composers. He has performed and taught internationally as well as throughout Canada. Most recently, he was nominated for a Down Beat Magazine Rising Star award in 2015. Other nominations include a Juno nominations for "best traditional jazz recording" for his debut CD, Other Stories and most recently, for his work with co-leader, saxophonist Tara Davidson and the Carn Davidson NINE.
