Back in March, the New York Association of Black Journalists hosted a panel on one of the most crucial and criminally unsung heroes of broadcast journalism: the tech operators and managers that make sure that graphics are prepped, the cameras are ready, the sound is captured perfectly, and so much more. CatchCod co-founder and electronic graphics operator FONDA SANDERS hosted this enlightening panel behind the scenes, joined by fellow veterans in the industry, audio engineer IAN WEST, production specialist ARIEL GONZALEZ, and music and broadcast engineer RICH LAMOTTE, as they discussed how they got into the industry as well as the interesting stories they collected along the way.
