End of Train Device is the 2011 ambient/electronica outing of Establishment and CDM (createdigitalmusic) boss Peter Kirn. Its reissue sees a richly experimental set of remixes, from IDM to expansive. With delicate piano and string sections from the original release, that sees imaginative journeys like the deep bass sounds from Chrcrshr, Noah Pred's quirky techno take on Oriente, or Nalepa's yawning soundscape, among other surprises. It's a collection of unexpected oddball gems.
