Tang Yu Lap, Fotokünstler aus Hongkong, ist durch die Pandemie im Jahr 2020 quasi in Europa gestrandet und konnte nicht mehr in seine ferne Heimat zurückkehren. In 300 Tagen reiste er mit seiner Kamera quer durch Europa und hielt in wunderschönen Bildern für die Nachwelt fest, wie das Virus damals historische Stätten und touristische Hotspots in eine einzigartige Stille versetzte.
Die Bilder sind bis zum 3. März 2024 im Liechtensteinischen LandesMuseum zu sehen.

The 300 Days of Pandemic Travel – Europe from its Unique Side
The pandemic stranded Tang Yu Lap, a photo artist from Hong Kong in Europe in 2020, preventing him from returning home. He spent 300 days travelling around Europe with his camera and taking stunning pictures of how the virus silenced historical sites and tourist destinations. These images will forever capture this unique moment in time.
The pictures can be seen at the Liechtenstein NationalMuseum until 3rd March 2024.
Yu Lap Tang
Herr Yu Lap Tang, geboren 1950, ist Unternehmer, Mäzen, Sammler, Reisender, Autor und Fotokünstler aus Hongkong.
Er verfügt über mehr als 50 Jahre Erfahrung im Finanzsektor und war in der Geschäftsleitung mehrerer lokaler und internationaler Banken tätig. Im Jahr 1990 gründete er die Hantec Group, ein multi-nationales Konglomerat, das weltweit professionelle Finanzdienstleistungen anbietet.
Herr Tang ist nicht nur in der Finanzbranche erfolgreich, sondern auch in seinem Streben nach kultureller Kreativität. Aufgrund seiner seltenen Sammlerstücke wurde er häufig öffentlich als Sammler und Kulturschaffender interviewt.
Er ist auch ein bekannter Reisender, Autor und Fotograf, der fast 150 Länder besucht, 16 Bücher veröffentlicht und mehr als 30 Fotoausstellungen weltweit veranstaltet hat.

Mr. Tang‘s achievements are not only in the financial industry, but also in his pursuit of cultural creativity, and he has been interviewed publicly on many occasions as a collector and cultural figure, exhibiting rare collectibles.
He is also a renowned traveler, author and photographer, having visited nearly 150 countries, published 16 books and held over 30 photographic exhibitions worldwide.
