This teaching considers some of the challenges Mary and Joseph faced during her pregnancy and in the early years following Jesus’ birth. The actual story of the Nativity differs quite considerably from the more romanticized version portrayed in Christmas cards! The main message is that all through these difficult circumstances God was profoundly at work!
