EHC GLOBAL TO SUPPLY HANDRAILS TO FRENCH RAIL NETWORKS
EHC Global announced in December 2018 that it has received a two-year contract to supply escalator handrails and related services to the Paris Métro and the Réseau Express Régional (RER) networks. Under the terms of the contract, EHC will supply NT and TufFlex handrail platforms, in addition to field splicing and technical support services. With 16 lines and more than 300 stations, the Métro is one of the busiest in the world. RER is a hybrid commuter/rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs through five lines and 250 stations, some of which connect with the Métro. The NT handrail is an environmentally friendly and technologically advanced alternative to conventional rubber-based products. It is available in a wide range of profiles and colors, and is recyclable, easy to clean and requires minimal maintenance.
