NYC FINANCIAL DISTRICT BUILDING NOW COMPLETE
A 687-ft.-tall, 47-story residential building in New York City’s (NYC) Financial District, 5 Beekman Street is now complete, though it is being criticized by New York YIMBY for, among other things, failing to take advantage of views of the One World Trade Center area and Brooklyn. The publication notes that, on the plus side, 5 Beekman’s lower portion consists of the historic Temple Court building, which has been appealingly well preserved to house retail, a restaurant and a hotel.
