MIAMI CONDO TOWER RESUMES ASCENT
Construction on Echo Brickell, a 57-story condominium tower at 1451 Brickell Avenue in Miami, has resumed after scaffolding fell on October 19 and killed a man on the street below, the Miami Herald reports. OSHA investigated and gave the all clear once general contractor John Moriarty & Associates deemed the building structurally sound. Boasting conceptual design by architect Carlos Ott, Echo Brickell houses residential units with an average price in excess of US$30 million. It is being developed by JDS Development Group and Property Market Group. Its penthouse's high-end features include a private elevator.

40-TOWER RESIDENTIAL PROJECT TAKING SHAPE IN MUMBAI
Work is underway on a 40-tower residential development in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex business district that will house more than 930 apartments, Global Construction Review reports. Leighton India Contractors, a subsidiary of Leighton Asia, is overseeing the Ten BKC project, owned by Radius Developers. Delivery is anticipated in June 2019. City leaders approved the development in light of there being insufficient housing for executives who work in Bandra Kurla for multinational corporations such as Facebook and Google.
