SITE BEING READIED FOR VANCOUVER'S TALLEST OFFICE BUILDING
Demolition has begun on a 10-story building and parking garage that are making way for what will soon be downtown Vancouver, Canada's tallest office tower, The Province reports. Developer Oxford Properties is planning The Stack, a 36-story, 161-m-tall high rise for the site at 1133 Melville Street. Oxford said more than a third of the building's 540,000 sq. ft. has been pre-leased. The site should be ready for construction to start early next year, and completion is expected in the first quarter of 2022, the company said.
