THYSSENKRUPP PARTNERS WITH INDIA’S CYIENT ON MAX
Cyient Ltd., a provider of engineering, manufacturing, data analytics, network and operations solutions, is now a thyssenkrupp partner on MAX, thyssenkrupp's preventive-maintenance technology. thyssenkrupp and Cyient entered into a long-term agreement that entails Cyient developing algorithms and integrated solutions to leverage data from elevators, thereby "enhancing thyssenkrupp's ability to diagnose potential problems . . . ." Headquartered in Hyderabad, India, Cyient has more than 13,800 employees at locations in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
 
IN MEMORIAM: STACY L. CARLIN
Stacy L. Carlin, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on February 22 at age 47. Carlin had worked in Sales and Marketing for C.E. Electronics, her family's business, in Bryan since she was 10 years old. She was also president of the Scott Ellis Committee at C.E. Electronics, a member of the Canadian Elevator Contractors Association and board member of the local Fountain City Christian School. She is survived by her husband, Scott; children, Mackenzie and Caleb; parents, Dawn and Garry Courtney; brothers, Jordan and Kyle Courtney; sister, Kristin Short; grandmother, Esther Ellis; a niece; and a nephew. Memorial contributions are requested to Fountain City Christian School or Life Changing Realities Fellowship.
 
32-STORY CONDO TOWER FOR MANHATTAN’S MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS
Developer Savanna plans to build a 32-story condominium tower at 543 West 122nd Street in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, Curbed New York reports. To take shape on property Savanna purchased from the Jewish Theological Seminary, Vandewander Heights (Morningside's original name) will have 170 residences and 24,000 sq. ft. of amenities on the seminary campus. INC Architecture & Design is handling the exterior and interiors, and Michael Van Valkenburgh is landscape designer. A construction timeframe has not yet been given.
