UPDATE ON POTENTIAL TALLEST TOWER ON NYC’S FIFTH AVENUE
New York YIMBY provided an update on a 76-story, 920-ft.-tall tower containing residences and a hotel that could be the tallest building on Fifth Avenue in New York City (NYC). On the northern corner of Fifth Avenue and West 43rd Street, 520 Fifth Avenue is being developed by Arthur Hooper of Ceruzzi Properties with the U.S. division of Shanghai Municipal Investments. Quoting The Real Deal, the source says Madison Equities could also get involved, an encouraging sign that construction could start soon. The plan calls for a three-story retail podium topped by 145 residential units and a 208-room hotel spanning 21 floors within a tapering, glassy tower.
