You think putting together a Broadway production is complicated? Imagine having to corral over 225 students ages 4-12 for an elaborate production of the musical "The Little Mermaid". Bancroft Elementary Principal Dorothy Ostrowicz and Director Francois Lukawecki have taken on the task...with just a "little" help from some 60 volunteer parents PLUS faculty. Put it all together and "the little school with a big heart" has a smash hit on their hands. Dazzling scenery, staging and costumes bring the Disney classic alive on the Bancroft stage April 9, 11 and 16.
