Black Rock Vision
The music of Burning Man has had a significant impact on my direction as a DJ and, with the burn (and Oregon Eclipse) rapidly approaching, I wanted to put together a set that would amplify the anticipation and excitement that so many of my friends are feeling as the time to go "home" draws near. The setting that I had in mind when I recorded this was deep playa after the sun has set and dusk has almost completely faded to night. A nice range of sounds in this one, starting off with deep house and moving into predominately progressive territory, with a healthy dose of tribal rhythms and vocal elements throughout.
