‘Night Patrol’ is Lifelike’s new single, (Double-sided / instrumental tracks) due out in December on his label, Computer Science.
Following last year’s release of ‘Don’t Stop’ feat. A-TRAK on Kitsuné, as well as ‘Urban Sex’ with Tommi Bravo (Nurvous rec.) plus the really cool remixes for Daft Punk, The Presets, Alan Braxe, Vitalic, Classixx and Lescop.
Making his début in the golden days of disco « french touch » madness, pioneering the « nu-disco » sound, years long before it started to invade the worldwide indie charts, Laurent’s early productions (« Black Chess » EP on the legendary 20000ST record label) soon pricked the ears of the likes of DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter (from Daft Punk), which if you’re a young Producer, is basically the equivalent of getting all six numbers in the lottery.
Some of his classic cuts like ‘Discopolis’ with Kris Menace (originally released on Alan Braxe’s rec. label Vulture), charted in the official UK TOP 40 selling more than 300 000 copies worldwide.
His productions and remixes made him a top choice producer and instantly received massive support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Annie Mac to the DJ bibles such as DJ Mag and Future Music Magazine, calling his productions “a sure-fire hit on dance floors,” “walking that smooth and sexy line between nu-disco and new wave” and "a master of crafting incredible dance floor beast."
Computer Science is his own imprint, and a new approach to how he releases his music to his worldwide fanbase.
