This Full Circle show is dedicated to Oscar Lopez Rivera, the Puerto Rican political prisoner whose sentence was commuted this past January by President Obama. We will listen to excerpts from Oscar’s first public appearance in the Bay Area recorded at his welcome home event. We have an interview with son of parliamentarian Palestinian political prisoner, Marwan Barghouti, and hear about “the dark truth” of the Puerto Rican parade with an excerpt by Silvia Torres.
