ICYMI, Check out this week's Full Circle with Freewillin Franklin to learn about what's been happening in Wet'suwet'en territory around the Coastal GasLink Pipeline. Many folks became aware of this story when Democracy Now broadcast footage of a raid on one of the Wet'suwet'en camps set up to resist the pipeline.

According to Coastal GasLink’s website, the proposed 670 kilometre long Coastal GasLink Pipeline will transport natural gas to the approved LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) Canada facility near Kitimat. In doing so, the pipeline route will cut through the heart of Wet'suwet'en territory. Joining me tonight to talk about this is Shay Lynn Sampson.

Shay Lynn Sampson is an Indigenous Land Defender from the Gitxsan Nation. She was arrested on November 19, 2021 during the militarized raid on Wet'suwet'en Yintah alongside 30 other arrests that happened within a 2 day period, and held for a 4 day period in police custody before being released under conditions.

We also speak with Max Wilbert about the proposed lithium mine at Thacker Pass in northern Nevada. And we'll kick off the show with a tribute to Myron Dewey.
