Description

At one of them jazz festivals in Lviv I attended a concert by virtuoso Mike Russell from Washington, DC. And afterparty live jam with various jazz players gave birth to the idea of ??a joint song. It turned out Mr. Russell was a very open-minded person and a big experimenter, especially when it revealed that we're talking hip-hop.
The track was inspired by that jazz night and The Cancel did a great job of not overloading the samples and leaving enough room for rhythm guitar and solo from Mike Russell. Fun fact: we didn't know about the participation of Mfa Kera (singer from Madagascar, Mike's partner in Black Heritage) until we got the materiald tracked and demo from their sound producer. Did y'all like such a bonus?
