This started out as two unique improvisations played one at a time with my own two hands in real time. I used a virtual dual-manual instrument on my iPad to create the pitch and gate information which fed a MIDI stream into my modular. The filter and envelope settings were manipulated live. Oh to actually have four hands!
I never intended for them to be related other than in key, but an a whim, I combined the two individual performances into one track. I really like the space that they co-create.
