Description

The government is being called upon to explore options to ensure we are not as reliant on Holyhead Port in the future.

Supply lines are expected to return to normal over the next few weeks following the news that the Welsh port is to partially reopen on Thursday.

The Irish Road Haulage Association wants a task force to be established to look at the possibility of setting up an Irish berth in Holyhead.

To discuss this further, Peter O'Connell was joined by former president of the IRHA, Eugene Drennan.
