Today in part two of our conversation on Financial Aid, Russ and Susie talk with Carrie Harlow. As we mentioned last week, Carrie is first and foremost a Redhawk and a financial aid … guru working with VSAC. She talks to us today about all things financial aid. I think Carrie said it best when she told us to have fun. College Applications and applying for Financial Aid is by its very nature, stressful. If we are only stressed then we cannot have fun. Hopefully, these conversations with Carrie will ease that stress for some of you.
Some important notes from Carrie, VSAC is open Monday - Thursday from 9AM - 6:30PM to help students and parents with form completion. 2PM is the final appointment available. VSAC is also currently hosting FAFSA Fridays, an online/remote option for families to receive support with their FAFSA applications and forms with appointments running from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (the latest FAFSA Friday appointment can be scheduled for 6:30 pm).
