David Flory CBE, Chief Executive, NHS Trust Development Authority, spoke about financial pressures at our recent press breakfast event. He said it is important not to lose sight of the core purpose that needs to be delivered, namely to provide high-quality, safe services in a very efficient way.
Necessary to do this, he says, is a strong relationship with all partners in the system, in particular the commissioning bodies who are contracted for the care provided.
