Each year the question is raised… “When will Ozzie Newsome retire?”
Perhaps that question is at least in part driven by the general manager in waiting, Eric DeCosta who has been sitting patiently on standby for his chance, despite the opportunities extended to him to be a GM with other NFL clubs.
Recently I had a chance to speak to former Ravens Director of Personnel Phil Savage to get his take on Ozzie, retirement and the possibility of an AD position at the University of Alabama.
