In addition to recording collections of my favorite tunes on 8-track, I recorded friends as we improvised comedy. We would gather in my basement usually after a Sunday church session.
This first selection from our 8-track "Zip 75-77" features Ken Henley, Mickey Strejc, Greg Miller, Francisco Arriaga, Mike Willett, Matt Anthony and myself. We borrowed from "Also sprach Zarathustra," "The Blue Danube," the movie "The Ten Commandments" and "Black Sabbath." We also borrowed from the songs "I Feel Fine," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "She Loves You," "Yesterday," "Come Together," "I Am the Walrus" and "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay." I cannot recall where we got some of the other music.
"Zip 75-77" has recordings from 1975 to 1977.
