BIOGRAPHY
Daniel Jiménez Mejía, known as Dan Cutoff, was born in Medellín - Colombia, in 1995.
His desire to venture into the world of music and the Deejay world began from an early age, since his parents had a collection of acetates from groups such as: Depeche Mode, Madonna, among others. Daniel (Dan Cutoff) was in charge of playing the Longplays at parties that his parents made, and in leisure time, he also went into music being influenced by a family member, who motivated him to learn to play a percussion instrument.
He began his career in 2009 as an empirical DJ, with only fourteen years of age. He was captivated by Electronic Music and its different subgenres, such as Minimal, Techno, House and Tech House, where the exponents that most influenced him are Richie Hawtin, Marc Houle, HOBO, Ricardo Villalobos, Alex Young, Mario Ochoa, Matheo Velez, Andres Gil, Troy Pierce, JPLS, among many others.
Currently Dan Cutoff seeks to captivate with Tech House sounds in each of his presentations. The Groove, old school sounds and percussions, are part of his musical line in his live acts, by which, he is characterized, thus having a great acceptance of the public for his musical style and his good energy when offering his Show.
