Description

FROM heav’n O praise the LORD;
in heights the LORD’s name praise.
All angels praise him now,
and all his hosts praise raise,
all stars of light,
both sun and moon,
you highest heav’ns,
and cloudy sky.

2 O let them now all praise
the great name of the LORD,
for they created were
when he did speak the word.
Forever they
are set by his
decree that will
not fall away.

3 From earth O praise the LORD,
sea-monsters and all deeps,
fire, hail, snow, clouds and wind,
which in command he keeps.
You mountains tall,
and all you hills,
you trees of fruit,
and cedars all.

4 Wild beasts and cattle all,
and things that fly or crawl,
the princes, judges, kings
of earth, the peoples all,
young man and maid,
old man and child,
all praise the LORD;
his name is great.

5 His name and glory are
above the earth and heav’n.
Their horn he’s lifted up;
praise for his saints is giv’n,
yes, for the race
of Israel,
those near to him.
ff The LORD O praise.
