This track was inspired by Joseph Campbell’s iconic book “The Hero’s Journey”—a tale of our circular journey as humans.
Our trials and tribulations we encounter in pursuit of our purpose and passion. All the battles we overcome. The tears. The harsh feelings. Pits in our stomach. Cringe moments revealed. But, we are all hero’s on Earth because we wake up, and we move forward. We keep going despite all the darkness surrounding us.
This song is meant to uplift our spirit through the thick of it. To feel a sense of laughter inside us. Because no matter what part of the journey we are in, our ability to laugh at ourselves and provide compassion for our worst feelings is a superpower we can all tap into.
You are comfortable with the uncomfortable. You are a hero.
