In this week’s episode, Afsheen chats with Justice Donald McLeod, Law’95, who is also an adjunct professor at Queen’s Law where he teaches both Trial Advocacy and Critical Race Theory. As a law student, Justice Mcleod was Class VP and Queen’s Chapter President of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada. After being called to the bar in 1998, Justice Donald Mcleod began practicing criminal law. A few years later, he founded The McLeod Group, focusing on criminal law trials and appeals, as well as administrative law. And In 2013, Mcleod was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice.
